Why should I buy an AVA (Audio Visual Allstar) product?
These are not the cheaply made, quick to fall apart products that are found elsewhere.
- What makes the AVA sunglasses different, because they look similar to cheaper sunglasses I’ve seen elsewhere?
The AVA line of sunglasses has been developed with higher quality, durability, functionality, and wearer satisfaction as the top priority.
- That sounds good, but what specifically is meant by “higher quality, durability, functionality, and wearer satisfaction”?
We have compared our products to numerous other cheaper versions. The cheaper versions are made from a brittle plastic that was unacceptable to us. Our polymer was designed to allow for a greater range of flexibility without increasing weight.
The AVA line of sunglasses has a sealer around the electronics and control buttons that help keep moisture out while the wearer engages in heavy sweating activities, such as running, cycling, etc. Look at the cheaper versions and see if they have bothered to address this problem, because they would mention it if they did. The cheaper versions tend to short out when the wearer sweats a lot.
Some of our sunglasses’ internal parts have been made out of brass and/or aluminum to increase durability, while the cheaper versions use a much more fragile plastic.(read: breaks easier)
Our nose piece for prescription lenses, allows for the lenses to be mounted without changing the bridge appearance of the frames.
A frame/lens mounting design that allows for prescription lenses to be placed in these frames, through an official AVA authorized lab.
We have a wide variety of prescription and non-prescription lens options ranging from single vision, bifocal, trifocal, and progressive addition lenses (no-line bifocals). Any of these can be made in clear, tinted, or photo chromic (changes to dark outdoors/clear indoors).
The lenses are also made of polycarbonate material, that is shatter resistant, and the type that is Dr. recommended for children’s and safety glasses.
Padding above the ears, on the inside of the temples, to allow for a more comfortable wearing experience and for longer periods of time.
- That sounds good, but they’re still a little expensive. What if I have problems with them or don’t like them once I buy them?
That is why at , we have a 1 year warranty on the products, not including abuse, and a 60 day return policy. Try to find that anywhere else. Just don’t hold your breath.
